Models of the landscape are used to help people orientate themselves to an unfamilar place or to learn about some aspect of the geography of an area, either past, present or future. This site explores the virtues of physical relief models, the capabilities of digital models, and relief models augmented with projected maps and imagery. It also describes the Grandest Views exhibition at Keswick Museum & Art Gallery in 2015 which brought together a number of these techniques for public display.
